Dining Out For Life Returns For Their 25th Year
If you’re looking for a good excuse to treat yourself to a nice dinner, make your reservations for Thursday, April 30th. Dining Out for Life is back once again for their 25 year anniversary.
On that night, over 200 restaurants and food trucks will donate 33 percent of their food sales to local HIV/AIDS service organizations. The event, which is sponsored by ActionAids, raises nearly a quarter of a million dollars each year. The funds support prevention, education, testing and counseling, along with other services across the region.
The long list of restaurants includes places like Amis, Bing Bing Dim Sum and Tria. Make your reservations early, because spots tend to fill up fast.
If you’re looking to grab a quick lunch while making a difference, check out Cow and the Curd, Foo Truck and Mac Mart, along with other food trucks around the city.
