Shipley Shops, the Main Line’s Prime Shopping Event, Kicks Off Today

Main Liners, big news: Shipley Shops is back! The 54th annual shopping event starts today and continues through Saturday, October 18th. Oh, and did we mention over 40 vendors will be there?
Held at The Shipley School, the event combines 40 retailers and houses them under one roof for three days. Retailers to watch out for include: Shop Sixty Five, Element Six, Menagerie, Ella’s Grove, and Ellsworth and Ivey (their capes are gorgeous). Plus, 20 percent of the event’s proceeds and 100 percent of the proceeds from Shipley’s own booths—Collectibles and Pantry—benefits The Shipley School. (Psst: If you’re one of those savvy shoppers that likes to knock out Christmas shopping before Halloween, this is your chance!)
The Details: The Shipley School, 814 Yarrow Street, Bryn Mawr; October 16 10am to 6pm, October 17 8:30am to 4:30pm, and October 18 9am to 1pm; $10 for adults, $5 for seniors, and 18 and under is free (Saturday is free admission for the whole family).
