65 Retailers and Endless Options for Holiday Shoppers at Peddler’s Village
With the holidays fast approaching, it’s time to get shopping!
Shoppers intent on finding unique gifts at boutique retailers can get in the car and drive from store to store, hoping to find that special item.
Or they can go straight to Peddler’s Village in Bucks County and browse 65 independently owned and unique retailers, all in one pedestrian-friendly location!
Shoppers will find the perfect outfits for holiday parties, fun clothes for kids, fab furnishings for the home, and gifts, gifts and more gifts.
Located in Lahaska, a short jaunt from New Hope, Peddler’s Village also offers wares that reflect its Pennsylvania roots. That includes Eldreth Pottery, known for hand-made salt-glazed and red ware pottery, still made with many of the techniques perfected by the Pennsylvania Germans in the 1800s. (Bonus: the pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe.)
Glass Masters sells “glass from the past”—vintage stained glass—as well as decorative glass items created by local artists. The store also offers a wide selection of gifts priced under $20.
To get yourself in the holiday spirit, spiff up your home with decorations by starting with your Thanksgiving table. The Cookery Ware Shop, a three-generation family business, stocks more than 15,000 items, including serving pieces, linens and more. Casa Casale sells Italian imports, including Vietri ceramics and Murano glass. (Shoppers with a sweet tooth can buy Italian pastries at the cappuccino bar!) Pick up wines or gift baskets at Chaddsford Winery’s tasting room.
Village Pied-a-Terre Home Furnishings is a resource for interesting furniture, rugs and accessories. (It’s also the place to find the chair upholstered in black-and-white script fabric featured on the TV potboiler Revenge.) Left Bank Home offers gifts and furniture, including 30 percent off on LEE furniture, made in the USA and inventory is updated often.
There are opportunities to add to your holiday wardrobe throughout Peddler’s Village. Sublime Apparel offers plus-size glamour in sizes 12-34, as well as jewelry and accessories. Label-conscious consumers will be impressed with the selection of designer brands at Apricot Lane Boutique, which also hosts private shopping parties.
Parking is always abundant and free. Check out a complete list of stores, an interactive map, and details on extended shopping hours during the holiday season at Peddler’s Village, Routes 202 and 263, Lahaska, Pa. (215) 794-4000.
