Doug Farrar of SI.com gives three important thoughts about the Eagles’ Week 2 victory:

At Oregon, Chip Kelly’s teams had a reputation for falling asleep in the first halves of games, only to roar back to life in the final 30 minutes of their games. That’s transferred to the NFL in Kelly’s case, as the Eagles became the first team in NFL history to start their season 2-0 despite trailing each of their games by 14 or more points.

NFL.com’s Gregg Rosenthal talks about the Eagles’ comeback mentality:

It’s almost like Kelly has created a quarterback-proof offense. The Eagles have scored 64 points in two weeks despite poor play by Nick Foles. The Colts, meanwhile, fall to 0-2 after blowing a game they controlled for nearly the entire night.

Reminder: The Eagles traded a measly fifth-round pick to the Saints for Sproles — who was on the verge of being cut by New Orleans.
