Woman Killed After Hit by Three Vehicles
The Inquirer reports a woman died on North Broad Street this morning after being struck by three vehicles — two of which fled the scene.
Philadelphia police said the female pedestrian was trying to cross Broad Street near Belfield Avenue when she was struck at about 5 a.m.
Three vehicles in a row traveling south on Broad Street hit the woman, police said.
The first and third cars to strike her fled; the second driver pulled over and remained at the scene.
The woman was pronounced dead at Eisenhower Medical Center. Police did not provide an immediate description of the cars.
