Monday: The Michael Pedicin Quintet feat. Justin Faulkner (Free)
As Camden County's free Sunset Jazz Series rolls on, fans will get a chance to hear one the best Jazz musicians to come from Philly. The 97 year-old bandleader and renowned tenor saxophonist Michael Pedicin will lead the show and is sure to include his signature eloquent improvisations. Fellow Philadelphia-native Justin Faulkner, will be accompanying Pedicin on the drums. These two local artists are sure to please when they play their home crowd. Monday, June 30th, 8 p.m., Wiggins Park, Mickle Boulevard at the River.

Tuesday: Rufus Wainwright ($35-$57)
When Sir Elton John calls you the greatest songwriter on the planet, you know you have made it. Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright will be playing his gut-wrenching top hits as part of Longwood Garden's Summer Series. Expect to enjoy a beautiful landscape set to quietly powerful and moving music. Tuesday, July 1st, 7:30 p.m., Longwood Gardens, 1001 Longwood Road.

Wednesday: Fucked Up (Free with RSVP)
Fucked Up are a rare breed of punk band. Their strict regimen of in-your-face music has not let up in their 13 years together. They remain as loyal to their sound as they do their fans. And for some reason they are playing a free show at Morgan's Pier on Wednesday. Expect to hear singles from their latest album, Glass Boys. You must be 21 or over to get through the doors. Wednesday. Thursday: Let Freedom Rock Fest feat. Foreigner and Styx ($20-$109)
Nothing like a little old fashioned rock'n'roll to get that USA spirit going. Don't miss the chance to see some iconic 70's bands play their hits all in one nostalgic night. Friday: 4th of July Jam feat The Roots, Ed Sheeran, Nicki Minaj and More (Free)
What else would you expect? Wawa's week-long Welcome America festivities will conclude with a free musical take over of the Ben Franklin Parkway. The Philadelphia Museum of Art will play the backdrop to one of the nations biggest Independence Day celebrations. This years star-studded line-up includes Philly-favorites the Roots, Ed Sheeran, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Hudson, Aloe Blacc and more. Those brave enough to see it live will also be treated to an impressive firework display after the show. Friday, July 4th, Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Saturday: Beyonce and JAY-Z ($40-$255)
Forgetting the fact that both parts of hip-hops biggest couple are touring together (if that is possible), either of these two artists can sell out entire arenas themselves. Seeing two of the biggest names in music share a stage, going back-and-forth with number one hits, is something not to be missed. These veteran artists (and proud parents) can do just about anything the want to at this point, and we'll continue to love them. Expect this show to sell out soon. Sunday: Freestyle Explosion feat. Stevie B, Lisa Lisa and More ($32.50-$100)
For those unfamiliar, freestyle (also called Latin freestyle) is a contagious form of dance music that utilizes electronic instruments. Stevie B. and Lisa Lisa are two of the genres biggest names, and while freestyle is not the world's most popular music, it's fans are fierce. Odds are if you are into this type of music, you already are planning to dance the night away at the Mann this Sunday. But, if you are looking for something new and exciting, check out Freestyle Explosion. Sunday, July 6th, 6 p.m., Mann Center for the Performing Arts, 5201 Parkside Avenue.
