Street Style: Moms, This is What Your Kids Want to Wear
Name: Eva
‘Hood: Graduate Hospital
Day Job: Kindergarten student this fall.
Where We Found Her: On her way to a friend’s birthday party.
What She’s Wearing: Dress by Pretty Pretty Rebel, a Philadelphia-made childrenswear clothing brand inspired by rock and roll music. The designer, Leah Delfiner, was part of the 2014 graduating class of the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator at Macy’s.
Where Mom Shops For Her: Born Yesterday, Lolli Lolli and The Children’s Boutique, all on Walnut Street; Happily Ever After on Pine Street (“They have really cool vintage-themed toys as well as classic, iconic pop culture toys,” mom says), the kid’s boutique at Nest on Locust Street.
Sound Bite: “I try to buy things for Eva that are funky, trendy, affordable and washable. An outfit that fits her personality. She is bubbly, humorous and fun—just like this outfit.”
