Black Boxes Recovered from Crash That Killed Katz
“The black boxes from a plane crash that killed Philadelphia Inquirer co-owner Lewis Katz and six others over the weekend have been recovered, according to the National Transportation Safety Board,” NBC 10 reports.
“Earlier in the day, investigators released the 911 tapes that were made moments after the crash as well as the identities of two of the victims. James McDowell, the 51-year-old pilot of the Gulfstream IV, and fellow crew member Teresa Ann Benhoff, 48, were the latest victims to be identified on Monday by Middlesex County, Mass., prosecutors. The crash also claimed the lives of Katz and four others.”
