Babette Josephs Booted from Ballot in State Rep Race
Babette Josephs won't be facing Brian Sims in the race for State Rep in Center City's 182nd district.
The path is now clear for a Brian Sims re-election. Babette Josephs was kicked off the ballot this morning, per the Daily News. A petitioner allegedly forged signatures of at least two people, including Philadelphia blogger Atrios. Of course, that’s not why she was kicked off the ballot:
Another 171 signatures were thrown out after voter registration records showed that the man who circulated those pages of the petitions had listed an inaccurate address for himself.
