City Council Okays New Curfew Bill. Members of City Council gave the okay for a new bill redefining the curfew for minors in the city. The curfew is built around the school year—giving kids an extra hour in the summer—and calls for parents to be fined when their children break the new rules. [Inquirer]
The Well Starts Composting. Waste Management, Comcast-Spectacor and Aramark began working together last night to reduce their collective carbon footprint. They did so by starting a program to compost as much of the commercial food waste from Flyers games as they could.
