Fundraisers for Alex’s Lemonade Stand
This Saturday, March 22nd, the Lemon Society, a young professionals group that supports Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is hosting its third annual Lemon Society Speakeasy. The prohibition-themed mixology event takes place at the Pyramid Club, high atop the BNY Mellon Center at 18th and Market.
Bartenders from across the city will be creating cocktails for the event that will be put to a vote by celebrity judges and all those in attendance.
Among the bartenders expected to unveil signature drinks:
- Alla Spina’s Ryan Elmore
- Bank & Bourbon’s Brian Bevilacqua
- Southwark’s Molly O’Rourke
- The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co.’s Christina Rando
- A representative of The Gaslight
Tickets for this signature, Prohibition-themed event can be purchased for $80 at AlexsLemonade.org/speakeasy. Attendees are encouraged to wear 1920s-inspired attire.
The first two Lemon Society Speakeasy events combined to raise nearly $60,000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
Speaking of Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Marc Vetri’s Great Chef’s Event is set for Tuesday, June 10th. The list of participating chefs has recently been released and tickets are now on sale.
