B-Boy Blues, Glamsino Royale,

B-Boy Blues: The award-winning stage adaptation of James Earl Hardy’s novel B-Boy Blues gets its Philly debut at Painted Bride Art Center. The first-of-its-kind gay, hip-hop love story chronicles the lives of queer black men in New York City. The Philly Gay News does a nice writeup about it here. The event — a must-see one-night-only affair — is being produced with the help of Philadelphia Black Gay Pride. Tuesday, February 25, 7 p.m., Painted Bride Art Center, 230 Vine Street.
The Great White Way Book Signing: Last month we told you about Philly author Warren Hoffman’s latest book, The Great White Way, which tackles the subject of race and the Broadway stage. Well now the book is on the shelves (and on Amazon), and he’s ready to sign some copies for his Philly brethren. Martha Graham Cracker Cabaret: Pig Iron founder Dito Van Reigersberg is back from a very successful run of Twelfth Night in New York, and you can just bet he’s itching to get into his Martha gear to tell y’all all about it.
