The Garage Begins Testing Its Food Cart
The Garage has been in a bureaucratic hell since opening regarding its interior food cart. The idea has been to bring in chefs to cook in the cart but they haven’t been able to get approval for the cart, so the food options at the Garage have been limited to BYO cheesesteaks and hot dogs cooked on rollers.
Tomorrow they’re testing out the cart with chef Mackenzie Hilton of The Tavern and the Food Network’s Chopped. Hilton will be cooking a menu of sliders up from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Mackenzie Hilton’s Slider Menu
One slider for $4, 2 for $7. All sliders are served with homemade bread and butter pickles.
House Cured, Slow Cooked Pork Belly with Kimchi, Scallion Aioli and Cilantro
Pineland Farm’s (all natural) Beef with Butter Lettuce and Tomato
Cheeseburger Slider with Cotswold Cheese, Butter Lettuce and Tomato
Vegan Slider with Mushroom, Edamame and Black Beans
