Watch the Trailer: London Olympics Documentary to Screen in Philly This Month
If you miss all the Olympics hubbub from last summer (minus all those brain-cell-sappping Ryan Lochte soundbites), take heart: the London Games’ official documentary, First, will be screening in Philly later this month.
Check out the trailer:
The documentary, which has already been released in the UK, profiles several rookie Olympians from around the world, including the U.S.’s own four-time gold medalist Missy Franklin. It’ll be screened in theaters across the U.S. for one day only on May 30th.
If you can’t make the event, Perez Hilton and Deadline are buzzing that NBC will air the documentary on July 27th, although the network has yet to confirm this date, so you might want to snag some tickets for the theater just in case.
According to Fathom Events, the official ticket distributor for First, the documentary will be playing at the following theaters in and around Philly:
Riverview Plaza
1400 South Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia.
University City 6
