PYT Still Cranking Out Burgers
We have to hand it to Tommy Up and the kitchen at PYT. Since just before Thanksgiving last year the Northern Liberties burger lounge has been serving up a different special burger each week and they keep coming up with new and creative takes on the burger.
This week it is the banh mi burger, a hamburger patty marinated in Vietnamese spices on a pâté spread. The burger is topped with pickled carrots and daikon, jalapenos, fresh cilantro and a lime chili mayo. All of that is served on a French/Vietnamese-style baguette.
The banh mi burger is available for  a limited time. Among the other burgers that have stuck around beyond their week in the sun:
