Rockefeller Center Donates Christmas Tree Lumber to Habitat for Humanity for New Philly Homes

So it turns out Philadelphians can get along with New Yorkers, at least around the holidays. In fact, Rockefeller Plaza has donated lumber from last year’s massive Christmas tree, grown in Mifflinville, PA, to help build two homes on Morse and Gratz Streets in Philly with some help from Habitat for Humanity. But Philly’s not the only city that’s gotten a donation, and with this year’s Rockefeller tree hailing from Mount Olive, it looks like Jersey might get a couple new homes in 2013.
