Hairy hopefuls have duked it out for the much coveted World Beard and Moustache Championship.

Face fuzz fans from all over the world tried to out-chin each other in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany.

Americans showed they are still voting for Bush, as Beard Team USA scooped nine trophies.

First place trophies went to Patrick Fette (English Moustache), Dan Lawlor (Freestyle Moustache), Jeff Langum (Full Beard Natural), and Burke Kenny (Full beard, styled moustache).

USA! USA!
