“Mad Hatter” Package Puts Germantown High on Lockdown

A package left on a sidewalk in Germantown had Germantown High on lockdown this morning. The bomb squad was called to check out a suspicious package near Haines Street and Germantown Avenue. The pacakge was marked “mad hatter, ha, ha, ha.” It took less than an hour for Philadelphia police to give this all-clear. [NBC Philadelphia]
