On Point Bistro Opens in Point Breeze
Challah French Toast at On Point Cafe
On Point Bistro opens today at 1200 Point Breeze Avenue in the former home of Breezy’s Cafe. In a twist, the BYOB from Garces vets Juan Lopez and his wife Mallory Fix Lopez, will start with daily brunch service and then add dinner shortly after opening. The couple of paired up with Mallory’s twin sister Megan Asher and her husband Rahul Asher.
For brunch On Point offers a menu of eggs, sandwiches and other brunch favorites. Among the intriguing options: breakfast nachos with two fried eggs and chorizo; a Philly cheesesteak omelet with chili aioli; and the Clucker, a sweet potato waffle, fried chicken, 2 poached eggs, honey mustard hollandaise and Lancaster maple syrup.
The menu tops out at $17.95 for Steak and Eggs; a sizeable 6-ounce strip steak served with potato confit, two poached eggs, mustard hollandaise with herbs.
On Point will serve brunch this week from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner will begin the week of September 20th. Check back for a dinner menu.
