PMA’s “A Pop Party”
The Young Friends of the Philadelphia Museum of Art hosted their annual winter fundraiser on Saturday, February 27th. This year’s event was called “A Pop Party” in celebration of the opening of the International Pop exhibition. Guests enjoyed international cuisine from Starr Catering, as well as an open bar and a silent auction with art-filled prizes and dining. DJ Gillian Sagansky kept the dance floor popping with hits of the era as well as modern tunes. She was accompanied by saxophonist Zem Audu. “A Pop Party” is sponsored by Neiman Marcus. This Young Friends benefit will support the Museum’s art acquisitions, conservation, and innovative youth arts education programs, such as elementary school field trips to the galleries.
