WATCH: Man With Fake Nose Jumps Through Checkers Drive-Thru Window in Robbery Attempt
Philadelphia Police are looking for a robber who threw a rock through a Checkers drive-thru, jumped through the broken window and threatened store employees with a gun before leaving without taking anything.
The attempted robbery took place on Sunday just after 4 a.m., police say, at the Checkers at 2448 Island Avenue in Southwest Philly.
That Checkers is open 24 hours. Several employees were inside the restaurant when the suspect threw a rock through the window while brandishing a handgun.
He then breaks out the rest of the glass, and jumps through the drive-thru window.
Employees fled. The man then went through the kitchen before escaping down Island Avenue without taking anything.

Suspect Description: Light complexioned male 5’7”, medium build, wearing mask with what appeared to be a fake nose, black and white wig, green knit cap, sunglasses, dark pants with white draw strings and trim, black leather jacket with a with a hooded sweatshirt underneath, dark colored Nike sneakers, gray or blue colored hood, green knit cap, dark colored “Nike” sneakers, a latex glove on his right hand and a dark colored glove on his left, and armed with a handgun.
