Photo Recap: Be Well Philly Underground Spin Under the Stars
Get ready to have some serious FOMO, folks: Last night, we teamed up with the lovely people from Body Cycle Studio, The Wall Cycling Studio, and The Juice for one of the most epic Be Well Philly Underground events yet, Spin Under the Stars. It was, in a word, awesome.
We had two killer outdoor Spin classes at the Comcast Center Outdoor Plaza, the first taught by Russell from Body Cycle and Cat from the Wall, and the second taught by Shoshana from Body Cycle and Juliet from the Wall. The sun went down midway through the first class, and everyone was decked out in glow-in-the-dark gear, which made for a view that was way cooler than your typical indoor Spin studio. (No offense, Spin studios. You know we love you.) By the time the second class started, it was completely dark, and everyone’s glow gear was shining bright. Oh, and did I mention these classes were taught to tunes played by the wonderful DJ Adam? Yeah, I repeat: It was awesome.
Post-class, sweaty Undergrounders were treated to some juice from Katie at The Juice (in case you missed our Instagram, her new vanilla chai is the bomb dot com) and everyone went home with a Sweetgreen “Beets don’t kale my vibe” bag (maybe the best bag ever?) and some swag from Athleta.
See? I told you you were about to have some serious FOMO. A big thanks to Body Cycle Studio, The Wall Cycling Studio, The Juice, Sweetgreen and Athleta for making this Underground event so amazing. And a big round of applause for all the Undergrounders who got their sweat on! We’ve only got so long to enjoy this 70-degree weather, after all.
If you missed it, you can live vicariously through the photos below. And make sure to sign up for Be Well Philly Underground to get in on the next event (they’re free!).
