Man’s Prosthetic Leg Stolen at Eagles Game
From the annals of “bizarre crimes at Eagles games” comes the story of a stolen leg.
Yup.
Police are looking for a woman who allegedly stole the prosthetic leg of a veteran in a wheelchair outside of Lincoln Financial Field.
The victim, Sonny Forriest Jr., who performs for fans outside of the Linc during home Eagles games, tells police he was singing when a group of women surrounded him and one of them took his prosthetic leg that was secured to the back of his motorized wheelchair.
Forriest Jr. said he was then approached by a woman in her 20’s who was wearing Eagles gear.
“She jumped in my lap,” Forriest Jr. said. “She gripped my leg and I didn’t even know it. I looked down and she took my leg! Then she disappeared! A young lady came up, snatched my leg off my chair and took off!”
This quickly became the talk of the Internet, as you can imagine. Deadspin made a report. Twitter crime-solver @FanSince09 swung into action:
So yeah, DM me if you know where the leg is, I'll tell you where to leave it. No questions, no cops. Getting it back is important

There is a happy ending: The leg was found at 1 a.m. at the Fern Rock Transportation Center in Olney.
Even better news? We might finally have a story to replace all those anecdotes about Eagles fans booing Santa Claus.
