Philadelphia Law Firm Is 12th Highest-Grossing in Nation
Morgan Lewis was the highest-grossing firm in Philadelphia and had the highest revenue per lawyer of any local firm in the top 100.
American Lawyer magazine released its annual Am Law 100 list of the highest-grossing law firms in the United States, and six Philadelphia firms are on the list.
The Philadelphia Business Journal’s Jeff Blumenthal rounds up the list: Morgan Lewis & Bockius was 12th with $1.29 billion, while Dechert was at 34th, up four spots, with $777 million in gross revenue. Morgan Lewis was 12th last year as well.
The other four firms on the list were Duane Morris (68), Drinker Biddle & Reath (76), Pepper Hamilton (81) and Blank Rome (96). Morgan Lewis made $945,000 per lawyer, and Dechert $920,000.
