The Look: Tweed and Gold
Most brides two days pre-wedding look frazzled. Not Philly Mag’s associate art director, Alyse Moyer. I caught up with her last Thursday, her final day of work before she left for her Saturday wedding at Terrain. And despite all the last-minute wedding prep she had to do, she still managed to look chic in a Chanel-esque tweed blazer, black skinnies and a heap of gold accessories.
The Look: Tweed jacket from Old Navy (“I never shop there. I went with a friend and I tried it on and actually liked it. I’ve had it since the summer, and this is my first time wearing it. I debated for 15 minutes this morning before I put it on”); Gap Ultra Skinny pants; Zara shoes; Ann Taylor Loft necklace; Forever 21 bracelet.
My Style: “It’s kind of casual but I like to mix and match boyfriend jeans and heels. I never buy all my clothes at one store. I have a lot of black. I try to add more color. It doesn’t always work. I like oversized sweaters for the winter. I always wear a necklace. An outfit isn’t complete without a necklace. And I usually wear more than one bracelet. I will wear three bracelets on my wedding day. At least three.”
Where I Shop: “Zara for shoes. And I got my leather pants there. For basics, Forever 21. For classic stuff, I go to Gap. I got a white wool coat on Piperlime, and I love it.”
