Turkey Hill Ice Cream Recall

Turkey Hill has a new flavor: Pointy Metal Shards Ripple.

Okay, so not really. But the company has issued a voluntary recall of three of its flavors due to a worry that they may contain pieces of metal. They’ve got all the details over on Be Well Philly, but here’s the vital part:

The ice cream in question was sold after October 1st at Turkey Hill Mini Markets, some Wal-Mart stores and small grocery stores in Pennsylvania. However, the company stated in a press release that, as of yet, no injuries or containers with metal have been reported.

The three flavors in question are Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, Moose Tracks Stuff’d and Fudge Ripple.
