Final Chance for Eternal Chicken at Federal Donuts

On Saturday, July 6th Federal Donuts pulled a Willy Wonka by offering 20 Golden Tickets at its two locations in Center City (at 1632 Sansom Street) and South Philadelphia (at 1219 South 2nd Street). Distributed among chicken orders at both locations, the tickets entitled bearers to a variety of prizes, from t-shirts and complimentary coffee beans to a life-changing prize of Free Fried Chicken-for-Life.

It’s been more than a week since the event and all the winners are basking in the glory of their crispy chicken-for-life winnings.

But there’s been a major plot twist: ONE WINNING CHICKEN-FOR-LIFE TICKET REMAINS AT LARGE!!!

So the Federal Donuts team has decided to “double down” on their original offer and give back at the same time: beginning on Wednesday, July 17, guests at both Fed ‘Nuts locations are invited to donate $1 Broad Street Ministry, a group that provides several free meals weekly for those in need.  For one week, the eatery will match all charitable donations – and then on Friday, July 26, a drawing will be held to find out which lucky person will be awarded the second, unclaimed chicken-for-life ticket.

Charlie was the last one to receive the ticket to the chocolate factory, will you be the final inductee into the sacred land of eternal chickendom?
