And There’s More! Cory Booker Saves Dog From Freezing Cold
Not five minutes after I finish writing about Cory Booker’s efforts to turn guns into bangles, and I learn he’s saved a dog from the freezing cold. Yesterday, WABC New York reporter Toni Yates tweeted at Cory Booker that she saw a couple of dogs left out in the cold in Newark.
#pets cold Yay! Newark for its heat help. Make pet owners get their dogs out of the cold. Saw 2 dogs freezing @eyewitnessabc7 @corybooker

After the message got passed around Twitter, Booker showed up, grabbed the shivering “Chacha” and put her in the back of a police car. He then located the cell phone number of Chacha’s owner, who said the dog must have slipped out accidentally as he left the house, and summoned him back to the scene. Then he thanked the reporter.
Because of you that dog was rescued. Thank you for reaching out. Thank u for your kindness RT @toniyates7: 2 dogs left outside, freezing.
