Kenyan Wins Broad Street Run in U.S. Debut. Henry Rutto won Sunday’s Broad Street Run with a time of 47 minutes and 5 seconds. It was the 29-year-old Kenyan’s first race in the United States. Esther Erb—a 26-year-old professional runner from North Carolina—was the first woman to cross the finish line with a time of 55 minutes and 26 seconds. Comcast Ready to Sell Stake in A&E. Comcast has started the process of trying to unload its 15 percent stake in A&E Television. The stake has been valued at $2 billion. When Disney and Hearst Corp. merged Lifetime Television and its sister channels with A&E Television in ’09, part of the deal was that NBC would dump its stake within 15 years. [Los Angeles Times]

Baby’s Death Ruled a Homicide. Five months after four-month-old Jaden Jones was found unresponsive in Upper Darby, police have ruled his death a homicide. An autopsy revealed that the infant had suffered head trauma and a fractured leg. Authorities say the boy’s mother and others living in their home are not cooperating with the investigation.
