Honeygrow Will Pay Your Parking Tickets

Okay, so this is just genius. You know how new businesses (new restaurants, especially) are always trying to find ways to connect with their customers and get them through the doors during those all-important first couple months of business? Yeah, well most of the time these enticements take the form of happy hours, charity meals, tasting dinners and the like. But HoneygrowJustin Rosenberg’s fast-casual salad-and-stir-fry concept going into the space at 1601 Sansom Street–has come up with a completely different way to get you through the door for the first time. He’s going to pay your parking tickets.

No, for reals. He’s set aside a fund of just over $1,000 to pay the PPA fines of new or existing customers. How it works is, you do something dumb, get tagged for it by the Parking Authority, then bring the ticket in to Honeygrow on the same day it was issued, and Rosenberg will buy you lunch. Actually, he’ll give you a voucher (up to $36) to spend at Honeygrow, but really, that’s the same thing. Nice, right? And that’s not all he has in store.

In a completely separate promotion, Rosenberg is also offering to pick up the monthly SEPTA (or other public transit) fees of ten lucky (and creative) customers willing to submit Instagram photos of themselves enjoying a Honeygrow meal, offering $150 each “to the ten most creative public transportation commuters who submit their ideal stir-fry or salad photos via Instagram.”

You can check out both promotions at the Honeygrow Facebook page. Or you can just read all the rules right here (click to enlarge).
