Student Suspended for Bringing Pellet Gun to a Philly Elementary School
A John Whittier School fifth-grader has been suspended for bringing a pellet gun to school and shooting another student in the leg. Authorities originally reported it was a handgun, but later learned it was a pellet gun filled with plastic pellets. A teacher noticed the student with the gun and reported it to an administrator.
