Real Estate: Titles & Deeds May 2006
That HGTV crew trailing petite realtor-ista Joanne Davidow of Prudential Fox & Roach across Rittenhouse Square recently was following her up to the Sidney and Caroline Kimmel penthouse in the Rittenhouse. Davidow has listed the billionaire’s bi-level condo, fitted out by Architectural Digest fave Juan Montoya, for $4.3 million. The Kimmels will presumably be spending more time in New York and Palm Beach and California—because they can! (You can reach Davidow at 215-790-5656.) … On the market for $3.5 million is Homewoods, a five-acre, circa-1930 Chestnut Hill estate with seven bedrooms, a guesthouse, a bowling alley and a desirable pedigree: Built for Schofield Andrews, a namesake partner of Ballard Spahr Andrews Schofield & Ingersoll, it was later the home of Eleanor Widener Dixon, mother of über-philanthropist Fitz Dixon. The 17,000-square-foot house—set behind stone walls—has linen-fold paneling brought over from a James II hunting lodge, a fab new kitchen, a tennis court and a pool, and backs onto Fairmount Park.
