PHOTOS: Dîner en Blanc 2014

Table captain Lauren Wallick calls out table numbers to her group, which is waiting at 16th and Market Streets. She gives them their numbers and tells them to note who is at the table on either side so they can place them in a quick and orderly fashion.

I came across a few folks headed to Dîner en Noir, which was held on the same night at Penn Treaty Park. About 250 people enjoyed the beautiful night, dressed in black with all-black accessories and a gorgeous view of the Delaware River. (In the back you can see a few Dîner en Blanc participants headed to the secret location.)

Kathleen Veloso and Scott Panzer have attended all three Dîners en Blanc. Although the subway ride is organized chaos, “you are awarded with a fun, fantastic night meeting new friends.”
