Urban Outfitters Just Tapped Local Designer for Exclusive Intimates Collection
Want a good Cinderella story to ease your Monday blues? Maddie Flanigan is a South-Florida-native-turned-Philly-girl who runs all of the URBN brand blogs: Anthropologie, Free People, Urban Outfitters, Terrain and BHLDN. She’s a photographer, graphic designer and professional blogger—but that’s just her day job. On nights and weekends, she’s a master seamstress, crafting up the most gorgeous lingerie designs and hosting bra-making parties in her North Philly studio. Maddie turned her Urban Outfitters internship into a full-time dream gig, and her sewing hobby into an all-out lingerie collection that’s now available online and in over 50 Urban Outfitters stores.
Maddie’s lingerie line, Madalynne for Urban Outfitters, is a collection of feminine-yet-sporty, relaxed intimates. In mostly black and white lace, the line features a few separates, as well as a gorgeous black teddy that can double as a saucy top. The best part? The entire collection is priced from $29 to $69, so you can get your hands on these adorable styles without breaking the bank.
If you’re really psyched about this collection, be sure to check out the launch party happening on May 14th. You’ll have to go all the way to Brooklyn to attend (What’s up with that, Urban?), but there will be champagne and bras and free potpourri to make the trip worth your while. Still can’t get enough? Check out these behind-the-scenes pics form the making of Madalynne for Urban Outfitters.
