This week should hopefully be the opening of the second location of mod kids' store Piccolini on 20th Street (the original is in Bryn Mawr). We couldn’t be happier about the cool kids' stores that are opening in the city, because well, city kids are cool.

On Wednesday, Lafayette Hill's Claire Dickson Boutique reopens for the season. They say they’ve been in Paris and LA and NYC buying new goods. We’ll check it out and report back next week.

Smith Bros. has a good-for-everyone promotion running through August 24th. Bring in a pair of gently worn jeans and they’ll donate them to Project H.O.M.E. and you’ll get 20-percent off a new pair.

Wayne goes Villanova-students-meet-Phish-shows with a new outdoors-y store called Out There Outfitters, selling Patagonia, Lole and Horny Toad clothing.

COMMENT:
This is a wonderful addition to center city/Rittenhouse shopping. Piccolini is definitely THE urbane place to shop for your baby, grandbaby or any baby on the block.
Don't miss our grand opening party!
