Photo Recap: Wedding Wednesday at the Philadelphia Flower Show

Philadelphia Wedding recently partied it up with the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society during our annual joint Wedding Wednesday event at the Philadelphia Flower Show—and just like last year, we watched the winners of our Greatest Groom contest tie the knot before the event festivities began!

Nicole Kennedy and Bob Shay were married in front of their friends and family—and just a few bajillion Flower Show-goers who stopped what they were doing to watch their sweet ceremony unfold. With Sarah Morrison from All About Events officiating, the couple read aloud the vows they had written to each other—with Bob even taking a moment to address Nicole’s two daughters, and make them promises for their future as a family.

It was a wonderful wedding, and while those two went off to party with their guests, we went upstairs and kicked off our Wedding Wednesday event! Hundreds of brides and their posses came to chat with vendors, listen to music, get ideas, sip champagne, nibble on cupcakes, and drool over gorgeous wedding gowns. There was even a flash mob!

We had a blast again this year and can’t wait to do it all over again in 2016. Thanks to everyone who participated in or attended the event!
