We’ve gone on and on (and for good reason) about all of the amazing local bridal salons where you can find the dress of your dreams. And while that may just be one of the most important tasks to top your wedding to-do list, the bride isn’t the only one who needs a pretty gown for the Big Day.
We’re talking about those lovely ladies that’ll stand beside you as you say your vows. You know, the ones who you creatively asked to be your bridesmaids? We’re guessing that dress shopping for them is on your checklist as well, which is why we’re here to make the task as easy as possible.
Whether you want everyone to match or you prefer a different dress for each girl, you’ll want to take a trip to the many Philadelphia-area shops that offer bridesmaid dresses of all shapes and styles.
Alfred Angelo Bridal
Where: 2010 Route 70 West, Cherry Hill
What: America’s oldest family-owned bridal shop (which began in Philadelphia and has locations nationwide) has been cranking out bridesmaids dresses for over 80 years. The designer offers a variety of styles and silhouettes, all of which are available in sizes 0-30W and in over 60 different colors. Alterations are available in store for an extra fee and if the bride purchases her gown at Alfred Angelo, her bridesmaids receive $20 off their dresses. Prices range from $99-$179.
Anthropologie
Where: Multiple Philly-area locations
What: If you’re on the hunt for unique dresses that don’t fit the typical bridesmaid mold, Anthropologie is your spot. This Philly-based brand is a go-to for gorgeous, eclectic gowns, which are especially perfect for casual outdoor affairs. From LBDs to cocktail and maxi dresses, there’s something to fit each of your girl’s personality.
BHLDN
Where: Online retailer, closest showroom located in New York City
What: Anthropologie’s sister brand is a favorite for stunning, ethereal bridal gowns, and their bridesmaid selection is equally as breathtaking. Choose from a handful of dress styles, plus jewelry and accessories for your maids as well. Prices begin around $200.
Bijou Bridal
Where: 102 East Montgomery Avenue, Ardmore
What: Shop this expansive, full-service bridal salon for bridesmaid dresses from designers among the likes of Amsale, Wtoo, Alfred Sung, and Jim Hjelm. Alternations are not available for bridesmaids but they do offer a 10-percent discount should the bride also find her dress at Bijou.
Bridal Garden
Where: 900 Route 70 West, Marlton
What: Bridesmaid collections from top designers like Alvina Valenta, Watters, and Amsale fill the racks in this elegant showroom-style salon. Discounts are available when purchasing dresses for your ‘maids, and their alternations department is one of the most reputable around.
Country Bride and Gent
Where: 708 Sumneytown Pike, West Point
What: Outfit your girls in classic styles from Bill Levkoff, Saison Blance, and After Six. Prices begin at $125 and alterations are available for an added fee. Country Bride and Gent also offers an extensive bridal package should you pick out your gown, bridesmaid dresses, and tuxedos all at the shop. A few of the incentives include 10 percent off your gown or bridesmaid dresses, no charge for the tuxes, 50 percent off tux accessories, and 25 percent off invitations.
Country Way Bridal
Where: 200 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield
What: This small, family-owned boutique is brimming with hundreds of dress styles to suit your maids. Alvina Valenta, Enzoani Love, and Mori Lee are among the collections they carry, all of which can be altered in-store. Prices begin around $180 and a 15-percent discount is offered if the bride buys her dress here or there are five or more bridesmaids purchasing dresses.
David’s Bridal
Where: 6595 Roosevelt Boulevard, Roosevelt Plaza, Northeast Philadelphia and 2600 Chemical Road, Plymouth Meeting
What: This bridal chain is famous for their vast selection of dresses to fit everyone in your party. Here you’ll find gowns that run the gamut in style, size, color, and price, including exclusive White by Vera Wang designs. Prices begin at $99 and alternations are available in-store. The David’s Bridal Rewards program also makes shopping super affordable. Alterations are available, with dresses beginning around $250. There’s also a 10-percent discount on bridesmaid dresses should the bride purchase her dress here as well.

What: Inside this special-occasion boutique are dresses that range from understated to over-the-top. The team here will help your girls find the look that fits them best or they can customize an existing dress to suit your needs. Multiple seamstresses are available for alterations at an extra cost.

What: You’re in good hands at this quaint Conshohocken shop where a team of experts and their in-house seamstresses will guarantee that your entire party is fitted perfectly. Lazaro, Alfred Sung, and Belsoie are among the designers carried here. There’s also a 20-percent discount on bridesmaid dresses when the bride purchases her dress at La Bella Moda.
Latrice
Where: 1024 West Lancaster Avenue, Bryn Mawr
What: You don’t want to miss out on The Special Occasion Room at this hidden gem on the Main Line. The private salon contains a carefully curated collection of formal gowns and accessories from designers among the likes of Romona Keveza. Their ready-to-wear selection is perfect for upcoming events, but you’ll definitely want to take a peek at their permanent in-house trunk show full of samples that can be customized just for your ‘maids.
Little Shop of Dresses
Where: 219 West Girard Avenue, Northern Liberties
What: Take advantage of the intimate environment and personal attention at this small NoLibs shop (they only open the store to one bridal party at a time). Choose from designs by Allure, Jasmine, and more, and enjoy 10 percent off bridesmaid dresses when the bride find her dress here too. Alterations are available in-store.
