Bachelor Juan Pablo Chose a Lady Last Night—But Not a Bride
Welp, we’ve got no Bachelor engagements to fill you in on from last night, dear readers—just an initially furious/sad/confused but ultimately liberated/released/so-over-it Clare; a chosen-as-a-girlfriend-but-not-as-a-bride Nikki; and a displaced 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring that is now floating around with ABC producers instead of on the hand of the “winner.”
Nope, Juan Pablo, who is easily—if I may borrow Chris Harrison’s sense for drama here—the most controversial Bachelor ever, wisely didn’t propose to Nikki (which, let’s be honest, is more than definitely for the best), instead telling her that he “likes her a lot—a lot,” and asking her to accept his final rose. Going by their post-finale interview last night, there is no need to stay tuned for a proposal and a dress and a wedding and all that, if you ask me—but hey, I guess you never know.
For now, we’ll just have to hope that in a few months time, we are celebrating Andi’s life happiness.
What’d you think of the Bachelor finale?
