Prince Music Theater Gala
On Monday, June 30, 2008, the Prince Music Theater hosted a gala, with the help of its chairs, Barbara Brown-Ruttenberg and John Ruttenberg, and with major support from Firstrust Bank, and Herb and Karen Lotman. On Saturday, June 28, Sunday, June 29, 2008, Main Street in Manayunk came alive as thousands of vendors and attendees enjoyed the largest outdoor arts and crafts show in the Delaware Valley.

The Independent Hotel Opening
On Thursday, June 26, 2008, the Independent Hotel threw a cocktail party to celebrate its opening in Midtown Village. Situated in close proximity to Avenue of the Arts, The Pennsylvania Convention Center, and myriad opportunities for shopping, dining, entertainment and nightlife, the Independent will fill the gap in Philly's upscale boutique hotel market. Guests also enjoyed featured artwork by Philadelphia muralist Kim Senior.
