Turns out 400 pages of porn is just the beginning.

Embattled attorney general Kathleen Kane said Thursday she’ll seek court guidance whether to release even more pornographic emails shared by prosecutors, agents, and others in the attorney general’s office during the administration of her predecessor, Tom Corbett, before he became governor. They were discovered during an investigation of how Corbett’s office handled the Jerry Sandusky case at Penn State.

She has said the emails are key to her defense against charges she illegally leaked grand jury information as part of a political vendetta; the investigation against her was initiated by individuals who did not want their naughty emails to become public.

The emails released this week had previously been included in secret filings with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court as she fought the charges.

“Some of the materials, currently in possession of the OAG, were never submitted to the Supreme Court as part of any proceedings,” she said in a Thursday statement. She said she’d seek court approval before releasing the remainder to the public.

Kane did not specify how much more material remains to be released. [PennLive]
