With Victorian curves and glassy luster, artist Adam Wallacavage’s plaster chandelier doesn’t immediately register as an … octopus. But take a second look, and there they are: eight bowed, suction-cupped arms with dainty scallop shells and pointy flamed bulbs. Fantastical and functional, elegant and surreal, each one-of-a-kind light-up cephalopod results from weeks of work in the artist’s turn-of-the-century Broad Street brownstone.
