Zac’s Hamburgers Leads Local Charge at Lincoln Financial Field
Today, Aramark and the Eagles announced what new concessions options would be available for the 2015 season at Lincoln Financial Field. Among the highlights, Delaware County institution Zac’s Hamburgers is among the new options. Zac’s will have a stand on the lower level and will sell double burgers as well as a Zac Pack of four “fully loaded” burgers, sure to make the purchaser a hero when they return to their seats.
Marc Vetri’s Pizzeria Vetri locations on the club levels have added new rotating vegetarian pizza options to accompany the Margherita and Salsiccia Taglios available. Look for summer eggplant taglio to kick off the season and be followed by the fall spinach taglio and the winter Calabrian pepper taglio. Peter McAndrews’ Paesano’s is also expanding its selection with its famous roast pork sandwich, the Arista.
These expanded local options join other Philly favorites including Tony Luke’s Cheesesteaks, Chickie’s & Pete’s Crab Fries, the Schmitter from McNally’s Tavern; Bassett’s Original Memphis BBQ; and Federal Pretzels.
The local offerings aren’t limited to food, Philadelphia area breweries have their spots around the stadium. Conshohocken Brewing’s IPA will debut in 16-ounce cans, joining Sly Fox’s 360º IPA. Flying Fish, Victory Brewing and Yards Brewing will have bottles for sale. Victory and Yards additionally are selling exclusive draft beers at the Linc. Be on the look out for Yards Laces Out IPA and Victory’s Gametime Lager.
In other concession news, a lager braised beef sandwich with beer braised beef served with caramelized onion and a cheese fondue with roasted long hot pepper giardiniera proves Aramark has come a long way from its concessions at the Vet. A meatball sandwich made with asiago cheese stuffed brisket meatballs and topped with Sunday gravy is another new option this season.
At the Quick & Carmichael’s BBQ locations, chipotle mac and cheese topped with Cool Ranch Doritos can be finished with black cherry smoked pulled pork or maple sugar smoked pulled chicken.
All of the new food and drink will be ready for when the Eagles kick off their regular season home schedule on Sunday, September 20th against the Dallas Cowboys.
