Beer and Chocolate in Chestnut Hill

On Wednesday, February 4th, Iron Hill’s Chris LaPierre and Éclat Chocolate’s Chris Curtin are getting together for a chocolate tasting. The event takes place at Iron Hill’s Chestnut Hill location between 7 and 9 p.m. Six chocolates and truffles will be paired with six Iron Hill beers. Tickets to the tasting are $35 per person and include gratuity. Reservations are required.

LaPierre and Curtin have done this before. Way back in 2004, the two met in West Chester and after bonding over beer and professional cycling, hosted their first beer and chocolate event. LaPierre says “to this day it remains one of the favorite beer and food events I’ve done.”

Éclat’s classic Champagne Truffles are made with real French champagne
subtle cherry accents imparted from a pinot noir base champagne.

a soft and creamy apple-flavored caramel surrounded by dark coverture.
