Craft Distilling In Pottstown: Manatawny Still Works Grand Opening

It’s been a long run-up, but the new(ish) Manatawny Still Works in Pottstown is finally throwing a grand opening party. On May 30th, from 3pm to 10:30pm at their 320 Circle Of Progress Drive headquarters (in the same neighborhood as the Sly Fox Brewery), they’ll be pouring some of their moonshine, white rum and vodka while Prime Stache and the Sunflower food truck provide grub and live music plays.

And that’s all well and good, but the big news is really that there’s yet another craft distillery up and running in the region. Manatawny has been open for a few weeks now, with on-site sales of their J. Potts white whiskey, T. Rutter rum and 3 Bitches wheat vodka and a bar mixing up cocktails from the same. They’ve been throwing bottling parties already. On Friday, May 9, they’ll be throwing their first-ever Food Truck Friday event with the crew from Smudge Smokehouse Eatery doing brisket tacos, pulled pork dumplings and smoked chicken sloppy joes.
