Mark Smith’s second Tortilla Press, this one in Pennsauken, has a lot that the original in Collingswood doesn’t: parking, a better chance at scoring a seat, a liquor license. But it has a little less, too. The colorful Mexi-ish spot is missing the neighborhood energy of the first, perhaps because the margaritas — straight up, on the rocks or frozen — lack the liberal dose of tequila patrons pour when it’s BYOT. But the two Presses share a menu of familiar staples, and Smith’s Mexican-influenced specialties.

I go here with my family all of the time. We love Mexican food but hate the chain restaurants so the Tortilla Press is perfect- sophisticated Mexican right in our own backyard.

I have always enjoyed the original Tortilla Press, in Collingswood, N.J. The food is delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I hardly expected that the I would like Tortilla Press Cantina even better. Lets' start with this....it has a liquor license! If you haven't tried one of the many margaritas, you don't know what you're missing (the pomegranate is my personal fave). The bar is a great place to meet friends, take clients, or just unwind. But the real reason to try this place is the food. It is just top-notch. The cusine is delicious, and the portions are ample. It is just the right amount of "spicy". Definitely try the calimari appetizer. And the "hot wings" are definitely the best in the area. Definitely give this place a try.
