According to Kempski, a spokesperson for the Eagles “confirmed that the interview took place, but said that the Eagles did not make a formal offer.”
The Eagles reportedly put their search on hold in early February, which was first reported by Geoff Mosher.
Jeremiah was once a college scout for the Eagles, as well as the Ravens and Browns.
As far as potential reasons or connections for interviewing Jeremiah, there’s one connection to Doug Pederson that’s mildly intriguing.
FWIW, Daniel Jeremiah played QB at Northeastern Louisiana in 1997, the same school where Doug Pederson played QB from 1987 to 1990.

However, since the discussions, Jeremiah has accepted a long-term contract extension with NFL Network to remain on as an analyst.
The Eagles also previously interviewed Brandon Hunt, the pro scouting coordinator for the Steelers, for the position.
The NFL Draft begins on April 28.
