7 Philly Yoga Classes With Awesome Soundtracks

To everyone who hates "yoga music," this one's for you.

Some people love your typical yoga-studio music and some people list it off as one of the many reasons — among singing bowls and closing your eyes to say “namaste” at the end of a class — they avoid yoga studios at all costs. But I’m here to tell you it’s not all barely audible wind chimes and whatnot: The seven studios listed below all offer weekly classes that feature awesome, not-your-typical-yoga-music music, from hip-hop to Motown to heavy metal. So go, have at ‘em. But note: You will probably still have to close your eyes and say “namaste” at the end of class. There’s just no getting around that one.
